Downtown Carthage Is Getting SPOOKY This Saturday!

Get those costumes ready because the Carthage Main Street Halloween Costume Contest is almost here!

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Downtown Carthage will be filled with ghosts, goblins, princesses, superheroes, and all kinds of creative characters as Carthage Main Street hosts its Halloween Costume Contest!

Whether you're five or fifty-five, this is your chance to show off your Halloween spirit, have a little fun, and maybe even take home some cash and a trophy!

🏆 Six Spooktacular Categories!

We've got something for everyone! Contestants can compete for Cutest, Funniest, Most Original, Scariest, Best Group Costume, and Judges' Choice.

And yes, there are prizes! Each category will award $20 to the winner and $10 to the runner-up, along with special trophies!

🎃 Creativity Is What It's All About!

You don't need an expensive costume to join the fun. Some of the best Halloween costumes come from a little imagination, a few household items, and a whole lot of creativity!
