Film Camp is designed to give children the opportunity to work and perform with professionals in filmmaking including writing, producing, directing, production design, art direction, costume design, cinematography, video editing, and of course acting for film. Campers can choose either “Production” or “Acting”. This camp culminates in a red-carpet premiere of their film for families and the community. Development, pre-production, production, and post-production will be at The Texas Country Music Hall of Fame with a red-carpet premiere at the Esquire Theater. Guest filmmakers and other speakers are to be announced.
Does your child see stories as moving pictures? Do they take videos with your phone? Do they love to act out what they see on TV and in movies? If so, then Film Camp is the place for them!
In Film Camp, kids choose either Production or Acting but all campers will work together to create their film from script to screen.
Cost: $75/Camp Only - $85/with lunch
Arrival Times: 8:30 am to 9 am Monday-Thurs. at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame
Departure Times: Monday-Thurs. 4pm;
Friday-Campers arrive at the Esquire Theater with friends and family at 6pm for red carpet and premiere of their movie at 7pm. Registration opens April 2026
